I hope most of the xp users are tired of boring text of start button. For them this is what they want, change that text to some cool name maybe your favourite band or some car, bike or a software company. So here you go, just follow the steps :
The editing work
1. We need to edit 'explorer.exe' which is a binary file so a special utility for it is Resource Hacker , download and install it
2.Open resource hacker and go to file -> open and locate explorer.exe in windows folder and open it
3.Now go to string table ->37 ->1033
4.Now replace the start text in inverted commas without editting anything else and click on compile script
5.Go to file and click save , creating a new folder in windows folder save the file with the name explorer.exe
Now the registry work
1. Click on start->run, type regedit and hit enter
2. In the registry editor window that opens, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon and look for the registry entry shell and open it
3.Now enter your folder name which you created in windows folder put a slash and type explorer.exe
Done! reboot and enjoy!
